Privacy policy

FuelMetric Pro, for Windows and Android. Effective date: 30-Oct-26

FuelMetric Pro ("the app") is developed by Sanaur Labs ("we"). This policy explains how the app and this website handle information.

Information the app stores

The app stores the information you enter (company and site names, address, tank details and calibration charts, dip readings, receipts and transfers, and app settings) only on your PC or phone. We do not run a server and we do not receive, collect or sell this information.

No account, no tracking, no ads

The app does not require an account, does not use analytics or advertising services, and does not access your location, contacts, camera or microphone. The data you enter is never sent to us or anyone else.

Internet use

Windows. The internet is used only for the licence key. When you activate Pro, and about once a month after that, the app sends the licence key, its activation ID and your computer's name to Polar (polar.sh), our reseller, to confirm the licence. No tank data or readings are sent.

Android. Only Google Play components inside the app use the internet, to process purchases and check for app updates.

Purchases

Windows. Pro is bought on this website through Polar, which acts as the seller (merchant of record) and processes the payment. We never receive your card or payment details. Polar shares the buyer's name, email, country and order details with us so we can give support, invoices and refunds. Polar's own privacy policy applies to the checkout.

Android. Pro is bought through Google Play; payments are processed by Google. The app only receives confirmation of which features you have purchased.

Backups and sharing

If Android's automatic backup is enabled on your phone, Android may back up the app's data to your own Google account, under Google's terms. When you create a backup file or share a report, the file goes only where you choose (for example email, Google Drive or WhatsApp), and that service's own policy applies.

Deleting your data

Windows. The data is kept in your Windows user profile (%APPDATA%\Sanaur Labs\FuelMetric Pro) and stays after the app is uninstalled, so a reinstall finds it. Delete that folder to remove it.

Android. Clear the app's data in Android Settings or uninstall the app.

Backup files you created remain wherever you saved them until you delete them.

Children

The app is intended for adults in professional use and is not directed at children.

This website

This website uses no cookies, analytics or tracking, and loads nothing from other companies. The Buy buttons take you to Polar's checkout. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.

Changes

We may update this policy; the effective date above will change when we do.
